According to sources, the film will be produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and will feature Akshay Kumar in the lead role. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized. The film will be shot in Mumbai and other locations in India.

"Rrr" was the biggest cinematic event of 2022, a movie that had people spontaneously dancing in theater aisles, and a movie that gave us a better friendship in three hours than the "Fast & Furious" franchise has in ten movies.

Director S.S. Rajamouli, who had already built his career on making epic movies like "Magadheera" and the two-part "Baahubali," which combined myth and reality with stunning action and a massive sense of scale, dialed up the maximalism in every way with "Rrr."

The film follows two storylines that merge, tracking Bheem (Jr. Ntr), a warrior looking for a young girl who was kidnapped from his village, and Raju (Ram Charan), an officer in the British Army tasked with finding Bheem before he can wreak havoc on the British Raj. Though on opposite sides of the conflict, the two men quickly strike a beautiful friendship -- one strong enough to take down entire empires.

The legendary duo of Malayalam cinema, Mohanlal and Priyadarshan, who have delivered many hit films and memorable characters, are set to collaborate once again in a new project titled Haram. The news was announced by singer Mg Sreekumar on his Facebook page, along with a caricature of the director and the actor. However, no further details about the film have been revealed yet.

Mohanlal and Priyadarshan have a long and successful partnership that started with the film Poochakkoru Mookkuthi in 1984 and continued till Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham in 2021. The latter film was a huge flop at the box office, but the fans are still excited about the new venture of the combo. There is also a buzz that Haram may mark Priyadarshan’s 100th directorial venture, adding more significance to this collaboration.

‘Brahmastra’ seems to have finally broken Bollywood’s box-office curse by garnering the biggest non-holiday opening day collection, besting pre-pandemic blockbusters ‘Sanju’ (the previous big Ranbir Kapoor star vehicle), ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Dhoom 3’.

This seems to be the unanimous view of trade magazines that track box-office collection figures. According to ‘Bollywood Hungama’, early estimates indicated that the Ayan Mukherji movie has collected in the range of Rs 36.50 crore to Rs 38.50 crore on its opening day.

The Rs 415-crore movie therefore seems set to break into the Rs 100-crore club at the end of its first weekend, but its big test will be Monday.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda made a shocking revelation that he was once “extremely scared” of women so much so that he couldn’t even look at or talk to them.

In a conversation with Bollywood Hungama, when Deverakonda was asked to tell two truths and one lie about himself, he said: “I was extremely scared of women till I was about 18 years old.”

He added: “I didn’t have the balls to look at a woman in the eye or have a conversation. So that’s one truth.”

New Delhi, Feb 8 (Ians) The ban imposed by the Indian Army on the usage of 89 smartphone applications, including social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, since June last year, has been highly successful. Of the 1.3 million strong Indian Army, only eight personnel were found to have violated the ban.

Official sources told Ians that at least 730 Army officers have been authorised to enforce the ban which came into effect last year, on July 15. The apps included 59 Chinese apps banned by the government for general public. But strikingly, the Army also banned the usage of common apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Ella, Snapchat, PubG, Messenger, TrueCaller, anti-virus 360 Security, Tinder, Tumbler, Reditt, Hungama, Songs.pk, Cam Scanner, Ok Cupid, Tumbler, Daily Hunt and others. Most of the applications are American and Chinese.

Mumbai, Jan 19 (Ians) Actress Shilpa Shetty says she does not believe in the stereotyping people face once they cross a certain age.

"Ageing is a process we have absolutely no control over. But, stereotyping what you can and cannot do just because you have crossed a certain age is something I don't believe in," she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday.

She added: "The years add a lot of wear & tear to the bones, nerves, & muscles; but, consistently taking care of ourselves is important. Follow just three simple rules:

1. Eat right

2. Exercise regularly

3. Smile and laugh more often

The body may have reached a certain age, but if you are young at heart then the world is your oyster."

The actress also shared a video that captures her jumping on a trampoline with son Viaan. The video has a message that reads: "Aging is inevitable, but how you want to age is a choice.

The National School Of Drama (Nsd) appointed actor Paresh Rawal as Chairman on Thursday, and the veteran film and theatre actor says he is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and experience with the future generations.

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has been appointed the new chairman of National School of Drama (Nsd). The prestigious institute announced the news on Thursday on its verified Twitter account.

"We are glad to inform Hon'ble President of India @rashtrapatibhvn has appointed renowned actor & Padma Shri @sirpareshrawal as chairman of @nsd_india. Nsd family welcome the legend to shower his guidance to Nsd for achieving new heights," read the tweet.

Rawal, also a politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party, started his acting career in the eighties. Widely respected for his versatility, he has impressed with numerous award-winning arthouse performances as well as roles as the villain and the comedian in mainstream Bollywood films.

Rawal was honoured with a Padma Shri in 2014, and he won the National Film Award in 1994 as Best Supporting Actor for "Woh Chokri" and "Sir".

Neeraj Vora, the man who made us laugh on screen and off it too, is no more. The actor-writer passed away early morning on Thursday, December 14. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala, who had been looking after the ailing Vora for more than a year, was distraught as he expected him to recover fully.
