Charlene: [first lines; as Cathy tries on a swimsuit behind a fitting room curtain] You can do it, Cathy! Think of the white beaches! Think of the *men*!
Cathy Andrews: [behind the curtain] I'm going with Irving, Charlene.
Charlene: Hey, is it my fault you're going to a singles' resort with a boyfriend? I'll be spending *my* vacation cleaning my storage room. Think of romping through the *waves*!
Cathy Andrews: Romping?
[pants twice]
Cathy Andrews: In this? I wouldn't even sit up in public in this.
Charlene: [pulling the curtain back to see Cathy's yellow swimsuit] Let's see!
[they scream in fright]
- ConnectionsFollowed by Cathy's Valentine (1989)
At least Cathy's mom isn't as annoying as she is in the comic. Rob Paulsen probably states out as the voice of Irving. He sacrifices $500 and all his luggage just to be with Cathy! I honestly think he cares too much about her. Cathy became pretty easy to make fun of in modern times. I guess I would recommend it to fans. **
