Ang Agimat Anting Anting Ni Lolo
ZERO stars Grade: F
I have watched a lot of movies but I haven't seen anything this bad since Jean Claude Van Damme's Knock Off. But Knock Off is a four-star masterpiece compared to this piece of dreck. To make a movie, you first need a credible story, but this movie jumps around in so many places that I wouldn't even call it credible. The acting in this movie was so bad, I laughed during the parts that were supposed to be dramatic. As for the special effects, they were downright horrible, HORRIBLE!!!! I know Filipino films don't have the same budget as Hollywood films but Spirit Warriors II: The Shortcut looked just as good as a Hollywood film (and that was a Filipino film). Most of the costumes looked like costumes you would buy at the department store and the fight sequences were just so stupid I cringed in my seat. If this is the first Filipino movie ever in Dolby Digital 5.1, then why did the sound go off for ten minutes!? Didn't they have enough money to put sound in a crucial part of the film? One more thing, three Revillas don't make a good film, they make a HORRIBLE one. All the movies I have seen look like there was some effort put into it, this film though, was a complete and total failure.
