The "Jet Turbine" Y2K bike that Cary Ford rides to catch Henry actually exists - one is owned by Jay Leno. It's an MTT Turbine SUPERBIKE, powered by a Rolls-Royce Allison 250 turboshaft engine commonly used in helicopters.
The semi-truck used in the 1971 movie "Duel" is seen in the beginning of the movie when the bikers are racing through the hills.
The bike that Henry rides is a Yamaha XV1700 Roadstar Warrior, it's a belt drive NOT chain.

While in post-production on this film, director Joseph Kahn appeared in an episode of MTV's Cribs (2000). He didn't want to, but relented when MTV told him they would bring the film's stars on Total Request Live (1998) in exchange.
Jesse James: in the scene where Ford and Shane are talking inside the tent. Two of his custom choppers are used later in the movie as the bikes Henry James' drugs are stored in.
