Each film about The Savior has the potential to be defined as impressive. But in this case, the things are different. First - for the acting of Claudio Brook. Sure, the age can be a problem, but in this case, in special way, it becomes, scene by scene, a virtue. Second - for the work of Rita Macedo. For few scenes, real great in each detail. For innovations, strange at the first sigh, coherent discovered after the end of film, for the use and, especially dimensions of the Judaic symbols. Not the last, for the music. A seductive film about the basic sacrifice defining our faith and way to assume the life. Impressive for bitter poetry and authentic passion to give the fair film about the Son of God, for the impression of large work of pieces from a sort of puzzle. And, off course , not the last, for the mark of Mexican cinematography to the genre.
