On Shepard's first call as a homicide detective, she and Delmarco investigate a body found by the water. The injuries to the victim's face are on his left side. Later in the coroner's lab the injury is on his right side.
In first scene we see her neck is bloodied by the point of her suspect's knife. In the following scene at the bar, her neck is perfectly fine - no band-aid or even scratch.
In the early bar scene with Jessica and John talking at the pool table, Jessica rolls the 8-ball into the corner pocket. Seconds later it appears in its original spot.
When Mike is passed out, the Police Commissioner pulls Mike's jacket off of his shoulders. A few minutes later, the jacket is back on his shoulders.
In the last scene of the movie, Jessica's lipstick changes from a pale pink to a deeper shade of rose and back several times.
The movie was set in California. All police vehicles in every city of the state of California that are equipped with emergency lights, must have at least, one, steady red light, visible from the front of the vehicle, yet the police cars in this movie had only flashing red lights visible from the front.
Jessica is talking to a psychiatrist when Mills comes to bail her out of jail. At one point as they are walking out, the movement of their bodies does not match the sound of their footsteps.
