Legacy characters are nothing new in superhero releases. Some examples of this practice have been extremely successful like ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ Some have been less successful as was the case with ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’

The next MCU projects rumored to include plenty of legacy characters are ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ set for a 2026 release and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ set for a 2027 release. Keep in mind that there are already over 50 characters rumored to appear in ‘Secret Wars’ which really doesn’t help the credibility of all those vast rumors and reports.

Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez however now reports that there have been talks to include All legacy characters. This was said during his November Ama, keep in mind that Perez is highly reliable and has a solid track record when it comes to scoops and leaks.

Perez explained that Marvel is considering bringing back legacy characters in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars.

Yeah… Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a weird experience. Not only because of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda turning full psycho, but also because the film was directed by Sam Raimi (and that too with his horror elements).

Although it was a great film, it was also a weird experience for an MCU film to take on some horror elements and then go about its normal way. However, Disney could have saved $350 million if Doctor Strange and Wanda had been just a little smarter.

How To Save $350M While Making a Movie?

The simplest answer to this question is not to make the movie at all. However, if you are making a movie, make sure to block all the plot holes lest someone may fall into them.

The Orions are arguably one of the more difficult aliens in the Star Trek canon to get a handle on. Originally they were depicted in line with other alien races of the era across sci-fi. A group of aliens who used members of their own race to entice others. In the original series, they became known as the "Orion slave girls".

In Star Trek: Enterprise, it was shown that the Orion women were far more capable and not always the victims. In Star Trek 2009, and Star Trek: Lower Decks, we know some Orions were part of Starfleet. In fact, they further expanded on the aliens and further explored more of their history.

Namely that they were pirates who did awful things to people, including, but not limited to slave trading. Enterprise really tried to flip the script on the race and Lower Decks added some much-needed levity to them.

When the two-episode finale aired on Wednesday night (October 30), many fans of the Disney+ series expectedw a bonus scene or two, as is often tradition for Marvel productions.

Exclusive: Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Bad Robot are teaming to develop Emily the Strange, a full-length animated feature based on the beloved character from artist Rob Reger and his company Cosmic Debris.

Andrew Garfield, who played the titular Marvel role in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and the 2014 sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, made his last appearance as the character in the 2021 hit Spider-Man: No Way Home along with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. Garfield’s role made us believe he wasn’t just fighting the villains but wrestling with his inner battles. Moreover, his chemistry with Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy had fans hooked. But after The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony hit the brakes on his journey without concluding his character arc.

Beginning later this month, David Gilmour will play a limited run of shows in the US in support of his new album, Luck and Strange. Marking his first American performances in eight years, the former Pink Floyd member will take the stage for multiple nights at both the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Madison Square Garden in New York City. He’ll also play a one-off concert at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.

In anticipation, a limited number of tickets for Gilmour’s shows at Madison Square Garden have been released by Ticketmaster. The concerts are set for November 4th, 5th, 6th, 9th, and 10th.

Well, while at least one viral X post sharing the news has racked up over 9.5 million views, it's not true. The update comes from Production Weekly, a publication with a 10% chance of ever actually being correct (typically because, beyond production start dates, the information shared is collated from online rumours or fan speculation).

When Sam Raimi signed on to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it was pretty much a given that he was going to give his longtime friend and Evil Dead franchise star Bruce Campbell a cameo somewhere in the film, just like he had Campbell appear in each one of the Spider-Man movies he directed.. Sure enough, Campbell showed up in the Doctor Strange movie as a character called Pizza Poppa – and in interviews given since then, Campbell has stated that not only his Pizza Poppa a variant of his Spider-Man character(s), but he also has a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Over a year after the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Campbell told ComicBook.com, “The cameos are like, in the Spider-Man movies — if you know anything about the multiverse, you know now, retroactively, I’m in the multiverse now because of Doctor Strange.

Sam Raimi, the director of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, returned to the superhero world to direct the Doctor Strange sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after the first movie’s director, Scott Derrickson, dropped out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe project over creative disagreements. Ever since the release of that movie, Raimi’s name has come up in rumors for more superhero movies, whether it be Avengers sequels or another Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movie… and while those haven’t panned out, here’s one that might: industry scooper Jeff Sneider reports on his website The InSneider that Raimi is nearing a deal to direct Doctor Strange 3 for Marvel.

Sneider wrote, “I’m told that Raimi is definitely coming back, which is no surprise as he really seemed to enjoy working with Marvel, as opposed to other filmmakers who have struggled to adapt to the studio’s process.

Although critics received the movie well, its lackluster plot has likely led to its status as one of the worst MCU films.

Despite the film’s reception, Doctor Strange remains one of the most significant characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is likely to play a larger role as the story unfolds, especially with the Multiverse Saga and the arrival of Doctor Doom. So, what about a third solo movie?

Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire both reprised their respective big-screen Spider-Man roles in the mega-hit Spider-Man: No Way Home, joining current MCU Webhead Tom Holland for a Multiversal adventure that ultimately took in close to $2 billion at the worldwide box office (surpassing that milestone if you count the re-release).

While the response to both actors' return was mostly very positive, fans seemed particularly happy to see Garfield back in the iconic blue and red after his tenure as the hero was cut short following The Amazing Spider-Man 2's underperformance.

Jack Antonoff has announced a plan to open free, public recording studios at LGBTQ+ youth shelters, with the goal of ultimately bringing public studios to cities across the country.

According to a statement posted to social media, Antonoff plans to “spend a large part of the next chapter of my life bringing these spaces to people who wouldn’t have access to them,” beginning with “working through the Ally Coalition to build studios in LGBTQ+ youth shelters.”

As a warm-up, he played a pair of live dress rehearsal shows at Brighton Centre in Brighton, England on Friday (September 20th) and Saturday (September 21st).

During the first concert, Gilmour debuted several songs from the new LP, including “The Piper’s Call,” “Between Two Points,” and “Dark and Velvet Nights.” More than half of the set was made up of classic Pink Floyd material, including many songs he hadn’t played since the mid-2000s.

It’s an outrageous number, but one feels closer to reality than zero. The good, however, is that those countless hours of over-produced, mildly exploitative junk content have prepared you for a new mockumentary from the co-director of the Reality TV parody Grave Encounters.

Stuart Ortiz’s Strange Harvest: Occult Murder in the Inland Empire is an incredibly spot-on spoof of the now classic Netflix True Crime documentary format. It’s got salacious crime scene footage, distressing interviews with the parents of victims, cops that have gotten to close to the case, cliffhangers designed for commercial breaks, and a mysteriously intriguing intro montage. It so closely resembles the medium it’s mimicking...

Agatha All Along premiered with its first two episodes, and while fans are loving it, critics have a more mixed response. The series continues after WandaVision, showing Agatha—now called Agnes—living under a spell from the Scarlet Witch until she is freed by Locke’s character, The Teen.

Agatha and The Teen team up to navigate the Witches Road, with The Teen seeking power and Agatha looking to regain her own, as she returns without her abilities.

The show feels somewhat disconnected from the main MCU, especially since the magical elements surrounding Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch haven’t been deeply explored. However, it establishes a solid foundation for characters that could connect to Ghost Rider and the Midnight Sons if you’re attuned to the hints.

One of the first supporting characters introduced is Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal, who has been confirmed as a green witch before the series began.

But, as it seems, an insider who has access to the concept art, reveals that the movie went through a lot of changes and that the initial idea was for Wanda to be a hero, after which a second villain was added.

Fresh off the release of his new album Luck and Strange, David Gilmour stopped by a local pub in Brighton and Hove, UK for an open mic on Monday night and gave his first live performance since 2020.

Taking place at The Neptune Inn, the Pink Floyd guitarist and singer joined his daughter Romany Gilmour, who also contributed vocals to Luck and Strange. Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour is actively interested in selling the band’s catalog, but not because of the financial windfall it would surely bring him. Instead, it’s one less headache he’d have to deal with moving forward.

“To be rid of the decision-making and the arguments that are involved with keeping it going is my dream,” he explained in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. “I am not interested in that from a financial standpoint. I’m only interested in it from getting out of the mud bath that it has been for quite a while.”

The “mud bath” Gilmour speaks is likely in reference to his contentious relationship with former Pink Floyd bandmate Roger Waters, whom Gilmour described as a “misogynistic, antisemitic, Putin apologist” in 2023. That marked just one relatively recent incident from decades of tension and conflict between the two.

On Friday, the news broke that Avengers: Age of Ultron star James Spader is set to return as the titular villain for the planned Disney+ Vision series, which is now being described as "the third part of a trilogy that started with WandaVision and continues in Agatha All Along."
