Legacy characters are nothing new in superhero releases. Some examples of this practice have been extremely successful like ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home.’ Some have been less successful as was the case with ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.’
The next MCU projects rumored to include plenty of legacy characters are ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ set for a 2026 release and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ set for a 2027 release. Keep in mind that there are already over 50 characters rumored to appear in ‘Secret Wars’ which really doesn’t help the credibility of all those vast rumors and reports.
Cosmic Circus’ Alex Perez however now reports that there have been talks to include All legacy characters. This was said during his November Ama, keep in mind that Perez is highly reliable and has a solid track record when it comes to scoops and leaks.
Perez explained that Marvel is considering bringing back legacy characters in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars.

Yeah… Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was a weird experience. Not only because of Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda turning full psycho, but also because the film was directed by Sam Raimi (and that too with his horror elements).

Although it was a great film, it was also a weird experience for an MCU film to take on some horror elements and then go about its normal way. However, Disney could have saved $350 million if Doctor Strange and Wanda had been just a little smarter.
How To Save $350M While Making a Movie?
The simplest answer to this question is not to make the movie at all. However, if you are making a movie, make sure to block all the plot holes lest someone may fall into them.

The Orions are arguably one of the more difficult aliens in the Star Trek canon to get a handle on. Originally they were depicted in line with other alien races of the era across sci-fi. A group of aliens who used members of their own race to entice others. In the original series, they became known as the "Orion slave girls".
In Star Trek: Enterprise, it was shown that the Orion women were far more capable and not always the victims. In Star Trek 2009, and Star Trek: Lower Decks, we know some Orions were part of Starfleet. In fact, they further expanded on the aliens and further explored more of their history.
Namely that they were pirates who did awful things to people, including, but not limited to slave trading. Enterprise really tried to flip the script on the race and Lower Decks added some much-needed levity to them.

Agatha All Along doesn’t have an end credits scene.
When the two-episode finale aired on Wednesday night (October 30), many fans of the Disney+ series expectedw a bonus scene or two, as is often tradition for Marvel productions.
According to executive producer Jac Schaeffer, that was not her decision.

“That’s a Marvel decision. I know nothing more than that,” the producer told Variety.
She did come up with several ideas for potential post-credits sequences, “because you always do on every Marvel everything,” she explained. However, she “was told that we weren’t going to do a tag on this show. That doesn’t affect my work, or my vision for the show.”

Few characters have the hype that Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff does in the MCU. From the very first time that she was teased in the franchise, fans have patiently waited for the Scarlet Witch, knowing full well what her entry would mean for every single character. The domino effect that resulted in Olsen’s character turning into who she was meant to be cannot be narrowed down to a few moments.

Her power is infinite and although she is allegedly dead in the franchise, very few fans are convinced that she isn’t coming back. With this, one of the biggest debates in the series puts her against another character that has been deemed the strongest.

Dig your Cursed Elegy Platform Boots out of the closet and light the Hot Topic pyres to signal your fellow Goths and punks because Warner Bros. Animation and Bad Robot are summoning an animated movie based on Emily the Strange. The lovable and stylish character hails from the creative mind of Rob Reger and his Cosmic Debris company. Pamela Ribon is in charge of the screenplay, with Bad Robot producing alongside Reger, who executive produces with Trevor Duke-Mortez.
Emily the Strange began as an eye-catching graphic on skateboards, stickers, and t-shirts before expanding into a multimillion-dollar brand. First, reminding fans of a Gothic version of Mike Judge’ ‘s Daria Morgendorffer, Emily the Strange, the character exploded onto the skater and emo/punk scene through books, comics, games, and more. Emily struck it rich with the My Chemical Romance crowd, partially due to her stylish black, red, and white aesthetic and...

Marvel Can Bring Back Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man Into the MCU (Photo Credit – Koimoi)
Andrew Garfield, who played the titular Marvel role in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and the 2014 sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2, made his last appearance as the character in the 2021 hit Spider-Man: No Way Home along with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland. Garfield’s role made us believe he wasn’t just fighting the villains but wrestling with his inner battles. Moreover, his chemistry with Emma Stone’s Gwen Stacy had fans hooked. But after The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Sony hit the brakes on his journey without concluding his character arc.
Although Garfield’s Spider-Man void was filled by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, his cameo in No Way Home reignited the spark among fans who want more of him. Well, Marvel and Sony can find plenty of ways to bring him back if they will.

"Spider-Man: No Way Home" was both a hugely significant cultural moment and, depending on who you ask, a key moment in the arrival of a new cynical era for moviemaking in which pandering to fan expectations takes precedence above all else. The box office performance of "No Way Home" cemented Spider-Man as a cultural phenomenon for the ages, but with its multiple cameo appearances almost eclipsing the need for a coherent or affecting story, the film arguably walked so that a movie like "Deadpool & Wolverine" — dubbed a "soulless act of autofellatio" and "a prayer to corporate onanism" by /Film's Witney Seibold — could run.
That said, even the most skeptical critic would surely have a hard time claiming they didn't have a good time watching "No Way Home" at the theater. The film represents what I believe should be a blueprint for Marvel Studios moving forward: An event movie that you go to see once,...

A third film in the Marvel Comics-inspired Venom franchise made its way through production last year, shutting down for several months along the way due to the Screen Actors Guild strike. Now the film, titled Venom: The Last Dance, is heading for an October 25th theatrical release – but the first batch of viewers had their chance to see the movie last night, and the reactions that are coming out of that screening are quite positive, with several saying that this is the best movie in the Venom trilogy! Some of the reactions can be seen in the X embeds below.
The first Venom was scripted by Jeff Pinker, Scott Rosenberg, and Kelly Marcel. Ruben Fleischer directed that film, which made $856 million. But then Fleischer turned his focus to making Zombieland: Double Tap and Uncharted – so Andy Serkis took over as director on Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Which was written by Kelly Marcel,...

Though he lent his voice to the What If…? series, Chadwick Boseman’s final live-action appearance in the MCU was in Avengers: Endgame. Everyone remembers his royal entrance into the Battle with Thanos as he comes through the golden spirals along with other heroes who had been victims of the snap.
While his last moment in the MCU was a brief glimpse at Tony Stark’s funeral, a now-surfaced deleted scene reportedly extends this. Fans seem annoyed that Marvel deleted the scene, which reportedly shows T’Challa and Doctor Strange discussing future threats and how to defend the world.

If you've been on social media this weekend, chances are you've heard that Doctor Strange 3 is moving forward with filmmaker Sam Raimi. Oh, and that Gladiator II star Denzel Washington has "officially" been cast as Dormammu.
Great news, right?
Well, while at least one viral X post sharing the news has racked up over 9.5 million views, it's not true. The update comes from Production Weekly, a publication with a 10% chance of ever actually being correct (typically because, beyond production start dates, the information shared is collated from online rumours or fan speculation).
For example, Production Weekly recently revealed that a Mr. Freeze movie is officially in the works from producer Matt Reeves (The Batman). A few hours later, DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn confirmed the project doesn't exist.

When Sam Raimi signed on to direct Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, it was pretty much a given that he was going to give his longtime friend and Evil Dead franchise star Bruce Campbell a cameo somewhere in the film, just like he had Campbell appear in each one of the Spider-Man movies he directed.. Sure enough, Campbell showed up in the Doctor Strange movie as a character called Pizza Poppa – and in interviews given since then, Campbell has stated that not only his Pizza Poppa a variant of his Spider-Man character(s), but he also has a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
Over a year after the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Campbell told ComicBook.com, “The cameos are like, in the Spider-Man movies — if you know anything about the multiverse, you know now, retroactively, I’m in the multiverse now because of Doctor Strange.

Sam Raimi, the director of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy, returned to the superhero world to direct the Doctor Strange sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness after the first movie’s director, Scott Derrickson, dropped out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe project over creative disagreements. Ever since the release of that movie, Raimi’s name has come up in rumors for more superhero movies, whether it be Avengers sequels or another Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movie… and while those haven’t panned out, here’s one that might: industry scooper Jeff Sneider reports on his website The InSneider that Raimi is nearing a deal to direct Doctor Strange 3 for Marvel.
Sneider wrote, “I’m told that Raimi is definitely coming back, which is no surprise as he really seemed to enjoy working with Marvel, as opposed to other filmmakers who have struggled to adapt to the studio’s process.

The standalone sequel to the critically acclaimed Doctor Strange was titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This film introduced the MCU’s titular superhero. Sam Raimi directed the movie, featuring Strange facing Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, who had completed her seemingly evil transformation.
Although critics received the movie well, its lackluster plot has likely led to its status as one of the worst MCU films.
Despite the film’s reception, Doctor Strange remains one of the most significant characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is likely to play a larger role as the story unfolds, especially with the Multiverse Saga and the arrival of Doctor Doom. So, what about a third solo movie?
Rumors about Strange getting (and needing!) a third solo movie have been out there for some time, but no precise information has been given. Cumberbatch recently said that he was clueless, but a trusted Hollywood insider,...

Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire both reprised their respective big-screen Spider-Man roles in the mega-hit Spider-Man: No Way Home, joining current MCU Webhead Tom Holland for a Multiversal adventure that ultimately took in close to $2 billion at the worldwide box office (surpassing that milestone if you count the re-release).
While the response to both actors' return was mostly very positive, fans seemed particularly happy to see Garfield back in the iconic blue and red after his tenure as the hero was cut short following The Amazing Spider-Man 2's underperformance.
Earlier today, Garfield made it clear that he'd be more than happy to suit-up as Spider-Man again should the opportunity present itself - and "if it was the right thing, if it’s additive to the culture, if there’s a great concept or something that hasn’t been done before."

Jack Antonoff has announced a plan to open free, public recording studios at LGBTQ+ youth shelters, with the goal of ultimately bringing public studios to cities across the country.

Bartees Strange has announced a new album, Horror, due out February 14th via 4Ad. To preview the album, the songwriter has shared a music video for lead single “Sober.” Watch it below.
Horror follows Strange’s acclaimed 2022 effort Farm to Table, as well as a handful of loosies from various compilations, soundtracks, and single releases. The record boasts production and contributions from Jack Antonoff and is set to further expand Strange’s eclectic blend of genres.
“In a way, I think I made this record to reach out to people who may feel afraid of things in their lives too,” Strange said of Horror. “For me it’s love, locations, cosmic bad luck, or that feeling of doom that I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember. I think that it’s easier to navigate the horrors and strangeness of life once you realize that everyone around you feels the same.

David Gilmour kicked off his Luck and Strange world tour Friday night at Circo Massimo in Rome, Italy. The set featured six songs from the new album, multiple guest appearances by Gilmour’s daughter Romany, three tunes from 2015’s Rattle That Lock, and 12 Pink Floyd classics.
Prior to the tour, Gilmour generated headlines all across the world by saying he had an “unwillingness to revisit the Pink Floyd of the Seventies,” and would instead play only songs from his era fronting the band in the Eighties and early Nineties. But...

Most fans considered Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, to be the most anticipated, ultimate film of the year.
The film shattered multiple box office records, being among the most profitable releases of the year. After finally breaking the $1 billion mark, the movie is currently the second highest-grossing movie of the year, behind Inside Out 2.
When the movie initially came out, it was the most frequently discussed topic here on Fiction Horizon, but it’s been a while since we’ve reported intensively on the movie. The movie will be released on home media later next month, but until then, we can enjoy a newly released deleted scene.
The deleted scene was from the beginning of the movie, just when Deadpool was taken by the Tva and it actually adds more substance to the scene, while, at the same time, hinting that there...

Spider-Man and Doctor Strange have a classic tandem in the comics, but fans of the MCU saw they had a different bond in the movies, especially after what happened in Spider-Man: No Way Home. While the spell cast by the Sorcerer Supreme was truly a shocking event, it’s no more surprising than the fact that it wasn’t their first interaction – at least on the big screen.

Many years ago, Peter Parker and Stephen Strange met in one of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films. It’s hard to believe, but there was an allusion all along, and many fans did not seem to notice it.

Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange shared a very heart-wrenching moment in the third installment of the MCU’s Spider-Man saga.

The Following Film Review is Based on A True Story. Reader Discretion is Advised.
According to statistics (that I’ve just now fabricated to support my claim), the average horror fan consumes approx. 736 true crime documentaries each year. It’s an outrageous number, but one feels closer to reality than zero. The good, however, is that those countless hours of over-produced, mildly exploitative junk content have prepared you for a new mockumentary from the co-director of the Reality TV parody Grave Encounters.
Stuart Ortiz’s Strange Harvest: Occult Murder in the Inland Empire is an incredibly spot-on spoof of the now classic Netflix True Crime documentary format. It’s got salacious crime scene footage, distressing interviews with the parents of victims, cops that have gotten to close to the case, cliffhangers designed for commercial breaks, and a mysteriously intriguing intro montage. It so closely resembles the medium it’s mimicking...

Agatha All Along premiered with its first two episodes, and while fans are loving it, critics have a more mixed response. The series continues after WandaVision, showing Agatha—now called Agnes—living under a spell from the Scarlet Witch until she is freed by Locke’s character, The Teen.
Agatha and The Teen team up to navigate the Witches Road, with The Teen seeking power and Agatha looking to regain her own, as she returns without her abilities.
The show feels somewhat disconnected from the main MCU, especially since the magical elements surrounding Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch haven’t been deeply explored. However, it establishes a solid foundation for characters that could connect to Ghost Rider and the Midnight Sons if you’re attuned to the hints.
One of the first supporting characters introduced is Aubrey Plaza’s Rio Vidal, who has been confirmed as a green witch before the series began.

Spoiler Alert !!!This article contains spoilers for Agatha All Along.
The first episode of Agatha All Along, much like WandaVision before it, began with an homage to a style of television. Starting out as a procedural drama before shifting into the urban fantasy setting that can be expected from a show like this, the first episode in the series was able to introduce a slew of easter eggs which could lead to some big ramifications for the MCU ahead of Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Agatha Harkness herself initially made her debut as the governess of Reed Richards and Sue Storms’ eldest child, Franklin Richards. It's long been known that "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" underwent some behind-the-scenes changes when original director Scott Derrickson departed in 2020, to be replaced by Sam Raimi. What those changes were, though, and indeed what Derrickson had planned in the first place, remained unclear... until, it seems, now.
"X-Men '97" creator and former showrunner Beau DeMayo has shared details on X/Twitter. Apparently, big changes were made during rewrites to the Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), turning her from supporting hero to villain.
Recap time: Wanda — once an Avenger — went a little mad with grief after Thanos (Josh Brolin) murdered her android lover Vision (Paul Bettany) back in "Avengers: Infinity War." In Disney+ series "WandaVision," she let loose her reality-warping powers to another level, brainwashing the town of Westview, New Jersey to make an idyllic sitcom-life for herself and a magical facsimile of Vision. "Multiverse of Madness" carries on from there,...

‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness‘ served as a solo sequel to the original ‘Doctor Strange’ film that first introduced the sorcerer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Directed by Sam Raimi, the movie depicted Doctor Strange in a confrontation with Wanda Maximoff, also known as the Scarlet Witch, as her transition into a villain was fully realized.
While the film received a mixed reception and is often not ranked among the MCU’s best, largely due to criticism of its storyline, it still holds an important place within the franchise.
Despite the film’s divisive response, Doctor Strange remains a pivotal character in the MCU, with his significance expected to expand further, particularly within the context of the Multiverse Saga and the anticipated arrival of Doctor Doom.
However, as is typical with Marvel, details about the character’s future remain tightly under wraps. To shed light on what might be coming,...

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness was the solo sequel to the hit film Doctor Strange, which introduced the titular superhero to the MCU. The film was directed by Sam Raimi and featured Strange in a clash with Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, whose seemingly villainous turn was completed in that movie. A third film in the Marvel Comics-inspired Venom franchise made its way through production last year, shutting down for several months along the way due to the Screen Actors Guild strike. Now the film, titled Venom: The Last Dance, is aiming for an October 25th theatrical release – and with that date just one month away, the final trailer has just arrived online! You can watch it in the embed above.
Which was written by Kelly Marcel, working from a story she crafted with star Tom Hardy. That sequel earned $506 million at the pandemic era global box office. Serkis said he would be glad...

Fresh off the release of his new album Luck and Strange, David Gilmour stopped by a local pub in Brighton and Hove, UK for an open mic on Monday night and gave his first live performance since 2020.

It remains to be seen how Marvel will weave all these elements together and whether they can craft a compelling narrative moving forward.

David Gilmour’s ‘Luck and Strange’ Is a Sometimes Beautiful, Sometimes Chilly Dark Night of the Soul
The most intriguing song on Luck and Strange, David Gilmour’s first solo album in nearly a decade, is a dark-mirror reflection of his own artistry: a rendition of the Montgolfier Brothers’ sardonic 1999 dream-pop song “Between Two Points,” sung by his daughter, Romany.
The original song was a slow-building echo of Pink Floyd’s realism, an impressionistic portrait of failed communication and a related sense of resignation. Refracted through the Gilmours’ lenses, “Between Two Points” feels starker and uncanny, as Romany plays the keyboard on a harp and sings, “Just...

Pink Floyd legend David Gilmour is actively interested in selling the band’s catalog, but not because of the financial windfall it would surely bring him. Instead, it’s one less headache he’d have to deal with moving forward.
“To be rid of the decision-making and the arguments that are involved with keeping it going is my dream,” he explained in a recent interview with Rolling Stone. “I am not interested in that from a financial standpoint. I’m only interested in it from getting out of the mud bath that it has been for quite a while.”

The “mud bath” Gilmour speaks is likely in reference to his contentious relationship with former Pink Floyd bandmate Roger Waters, whom Gilmour described as a “misogynistic, antisemitic, Putin apologist” in 2023. That marked just one relatively recent incident from decades of tension and conflict between the two.

Deadpool & Wolverine introduces the Deadpool Corps for an unforgettable action scene set to Madonna's "Like a Prayer." Only a few of them have speaking lines and those that do are played by members of Ryan Reynolds' family in what proves to be pitch-perfect casting.
However, the fast-talking Cowboypool is an exception as he's voiced by Matthew McConaughey, an actor comic book fans have long hoped to see in a superhero movie (he was once among those rumoured to play Doctor Strange).
Now, Deadpool & Wolverine concept artist Jonay Bacallado has shared his design for Western Wade Wilson. "One the coolest and craziest sequences in the film is the portal opening and arrival of an army of Deadpool variants. Cowboypool was one the first ones to be conceptualised," he explains.
"[Mayes C. Rubeo] wanted to pay homage to the Western genre. We got inspiration from great icons like Clint Eastwood.

With Deadpool & Wolverine continuing to dominate the box office, the filmmakers behind the Marvel Studios blockbuster have been sharing a ton of amazing behind-the-scenes content revealing candid moments and a few deleted scenes that we'll hopefully see more of when the film arrives on home video later this year.
The latest footage comes to us from leading man Ryan Reynolds (Wade Wilson/Deadpool), who shared a deleted scene that shows the aftermath of The Reistance's battle against Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) and her forces, showcasing Gambit (Channing Tatum) surveying the battlefield, only to be interrupted by the appearance of one of Doctor Strange's Inter-Dimensional Portals, a.k.a. a Marvel Sparkle Circle, which seems to indicate he finally made it out of the Void.
Considering X-23 was returned back to Earth-10005 with Logan (Hugh Jackman) and Deadpool, it was assumed fellow Resistance members Blade and Elektra were also returned to their respective home worlds.

In January 2007, a few months after the conclusion of the On an Island tour, David Gilmour and members of his road band, including Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, convened in a drafty barn on his U.K. property to try out some new song ideas. “I hadn’t thought this all the way through,” Gilmour says. “It was fuckin’ freezing in there. But we spent 15 minutes working on this tiny, little riff I wrote on the guitar. They all joined in one by one.”

Benedict Cumberbatch has proven to be the ultimate Doctor Strange for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, channeling his wit, charm, and personality as a whole most profoundly. From a doctor who only sought to cure his hands to a well-established sorcerer who head-on takes the challenges posed by multiversal threats, he has truly come a long way as the character.
