Not really. The only similarities are the two main characters' names, the fact that they're spies (well, one of them at least), and the interracial pairing of the two. Other than that, mostly everything here is different form the original show.
It's about a secret agent who is forced to work with a cocky and arrogant boxer in order to take down an international criminal who has stolen a super weapon prototype.
