As it is being displayed, a voice-over (presumably that of the statement's author) reads it in Hindi : "None of the characters or situations depicted in this film are imaginary or fictional, really speaking. They are echoes of what is happening all around us in our so called civilized society. At best, these voices - cries, and shrieks, pleas and whispers - have been amplified for deaf people to take note. First film to star Ajay Devgan with Jackie and Anil.

This is first time Madhuri Dixit and Manisha Koirala worked together after their alleged rivalry in the 90's. Manisha was also supposed to work with Madhuri in Dil toh pagal hai but she opted out of the project.

Although Ajay Devgn comes in the third act of the film, he ended up being the highlight of the film.

Madhuri, Manisha Koirala and Mahima who in this film all were of Subhash Ghai's Csmp. Only Meenakshi Seshadri was missing.
