Contrary to what many
Care Bear fans believe, this is not the case. Terri Hawkes starred
as the voice of Baby Hugs in the first Care Bears Movie, and, in later
episodes of the Nelvana series, played Shrieky, No Heart's niece.
Throughout the entire run of that version, Hugs was voiced by

The Care Bears live in a faraway place up in the clouds called Care-a-Lot. They travel around the world on Missions in Caring, whilst evil villains such as Lord No Heart, try to thwart their plans.
