I honestly loved the first season. It was great watching Michael Davies (Millionaire) whip out another game show. This one was for the ultimate sports fan who knew questions like "How many home runs did Hank Aaron have when he went up to bat on Wednesdays?". The contestants would whip out the correct answers before the questions ended to the point where all the questions would be completed with 30 seconds left which always lead to what stations hate "dead air time". So super sports genius won Season 1 and 2. This guy could answer anything! Then when season 2 and 3 came the format was changed to the point where the game went so slow it became boring, Mayne told the players now that they had to wait until the question was finish before they could answer. That was the biggest mistake ESPN and company did. They did that so Disney could implement Enhanced TV. The panelist in season 2 read the questions like they did not rehearse them before the show and what happen sometimes was Kenny had to finish the question for the panel member. Then ESPN showed its lack of faith and put the show to late night. My hope is that Davies come out with either a revamping of the show (like Sports on Tap) or creates another sports game show (how about Sports Jeopardy or Millionaire Sports Edition?). This show was so great that nothing for it had to be tinkered with after season 1 to make it better, but they did and the outcome was for the worse.
