This was the second time Sunny Deol and Sanjay Dutt had acted together. After the flopping of their previous film Kroadh (1990), they came back with this movie, which also failed at the box office
Rahul Rawail went on record and said to say that Sangeeta Bijlani was the most unprofessional actress he ever worked with. She left the Goa schedule without informing anyone. This angered Rawail as he needed her to shoot her scenes. Sangeeta claimed she was sitting around doing nothing for days. Rawail wasted her time.
When the film got delayed,Karim Morani suffered a heart attack.
Sanjay Dutt was constantly going to New York due to Richa Sharma cancer treatment. This caused delays in the film.
There were reports in the media that the Morani brothers saw the rushes of the film and were so angry with Rahul Rawail for making a trash film. They wanted to boot him out of the film and take Raj Kumar Santoshi. Santoshi was hesitant as Rahul Rawail was his senior. Later the Morani's stated they only wanted to take Santoshi so he could watch what was shot and add to the screenplay of the film. They only wanted his suggestions.
