In 1972, Georgio Ardisson was at the height of his career, having made several successful Sword & Sandal movies and a run of Spaghetti Westerns. He also had major successes' as a Euro-Spy. Why he would make this strange movie, is beyond me.
This is a movie with live actors who just stand around and make speeches. They look straight ahead and talk but there is no interaction between them. George Ardisson wears makeup that looks like silver paint. All the other actors are female and have wild hair dos and have elaborate and wild makeup coloring on their faces. Some of them are topless. The locations are in a cave, in a wooded area and by a rocky shoreline. The story line escapes me. It looks very much like a stage-play but filmed outdoors. It is more like an Art film, than a Cinema release.
Watch it only if you are a Georgio Ardisson fan.
Larry Anderson.
