Not extraordinary, obviously, but surprisingly good. It is a pornochanchada, a film from a softcore sexploitation comedy genre from Brazilian cinema in the 70's and 80's. It is divided in three segments, besides the beginning and the enigmatic end, and only the first and third segments are really comedies, as the second one is a drama. Three women, three stories in different parts of Brazil, the same fate: becoming prostitute under the guidance of Pilar, whose death is announced in the very first scene. The stories are not excuses for showing nudity and sex, as in most pornochanchadas, but also a good portrayal of some Brazilian cultural traits and patriarchy. In the first story, with a few funny moments, a woman makes sex with her boyfriend, who feels guilty and wants to marry her, but she preferred to live with a circus trapeze artist. The two men are played by good actors Marco Nanini and Gracindo Jr, respectively, both in one of their earliest roles in cinema. In the second segment, the best of them, held in Bahia, a humble but attractive woman, played by stunning Tina Luisa, is seen more as a maid than as a wife by her husband, but two other men - his landowner boss and a wandering fruit juice seller - lust her overtly (no spoiler here, but the way tgis segment ends is quite interesting). In the third story, the black sheep of a catholic family in the town of Três Corações-MG marries a quite old-fashioned man, but he has a bad surprise (being his impression true or not) in the wedding night. If you want to watch a pornochanchada, this one is among the best.
