Marvel Studios has been sitting on the Ghost Rider rights for years, allowing Marvel Television to use the Robbie Reyes version in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a brief spell. Recently, however, rumours have persisted that Johnny Blaze is being lined up to make his MCU debut.

Initially, we heard that might happen in a "Marvel Studios Special Presentation," but with Disney shifting its focus away from Disney+ in a bid to increase theatrical profits, those plans might have fallen by the wayside. 

The Spirit of Vengeance is bound to show up somewhere down the line, but before we get a new version, we may see a familiar flaming face.

According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Ghost Rider and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance star Nicolas Cage is now in "active talks" to reprise the role. The project he's being eyed for isn't named, though Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars are most likely.

A TV adaptation of EA’s best-selling sci-fi video game franchise “Mass Effect” is in the works at Amazon MGM Studios.

The project will be written and executive produced by Daniel Casey. Other executive producers include Karim Zreik under his Cedar Tree Productions banner’s overall deal, Ari Arad and EA’s Michael Gamble.

News of the TV series was first revealed back in 2021, but there had been no updates since then. There have also been various failed attempts to adapt the game into a feature film. Specific plot details for the upcoming series have not been disclosed.

The video game franchise depicts a distant future where humanity and several alien civilizations have colonized the galaxy using technology left behind by advanced precursor civilizations.

The first three games in the triology follow Commander Shepard, who attemps to save the Milky Way Galaxy from a race of ancient, hibernating machines known as the Reapers.

A “Mass Effect” TV series is officially in development at Amazon MGM Studios, Variety has learned exclusively.

Daniel Casey is set to write and executive produce the adaptation. Karim Zreik will executive produce under his Cedar Tree Productions banner, with Ari Arad and EA’s Michael Gamble also executive producing. Cedar Tree is currently under an overall deal at Amazon MGM Studios.

Exact plot details are being kept under wraps.

Did you know Nicolas Cage was this close to being Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings? But he turned it down. Yup. The same guy who took on National Treasure and Ghost Rider could’ve been slinging a sword in Middle-earth. And the kicker? He’s got no regrets. Zero. Zilch. So, what happened? Well, it turns out that life got in the way. Cage had “different things” going on—and spending three years in New Zealand wasn’t something he wanted. He didn’t want to leave his family for that long.

Hulu‘s November, 2024 schedule has a wealth of originals, catalog titles and plenty of holiday offerings.

Christmas films like Fred Claus, Four Christmases, The Polar Express, Jack Frost and Elf will arrive at the end of the month right before Thanksgiving. Hustlers (2019) leaves the streamer on Nov. 30, and Plus One leaves Nov. 16.

Horror is one of the many genres that audiences love to digest. In fact, I recently put together a list recommending some horror movies and TV shows based on comic books.

But there are also plenty of horror comic books, too. With that in mind, I'd now like to focus on the comics that inspired many of the movies and shows from the previous list. So, without further adieu, here's some horror comic book recommendations for spooky season.

In the last year or so, there have been plenty of rumors that the Ghost Rider movie or a TV show is in development, alongside ‘Midnight Sons’ project.
