There was a lot of talk about restoring the trimmed kills and releasing a director's cut, but unfortunately, it's all been from fans, and Warner Bros. has not shown any interest in releasing an extended cut.
Jessica Cauffiel remarks that her favorite scenes to film were with her onscreen boyfriend Johnny Whitworth. While most actors get exhausted filming kissing scenes after several takes, Cauffiel said she had no such issue because Whitworth was a "great kisser".
During the original casting process, Tara Reid, who previously appeared in Jamie Blanks' other film Urban Legend (1998), played "Dorothy Wheeler' (now played by Jessica Capshaw) and Jennifer Love Hewitt played "Paige Prescott" (now played by Denise Richards).
