As per Mahesh Kothare Bipin Varti was give the character of Kautya Mahakaal but his schedule didn't match and it was played by eight different people.Mahesh Kothare doesn't remember the other 7 actors so the identity of Kautya Mahakaal was reveled in climax.
Kautya Mahakaal's character had inspirations from the iconic character Gabbar Singh of Sholay 1975.
