Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaThe opening narration sets the whole story in one small town. However the footage that is showed is from Klagenfurt, while the movie was mostly filmed in Velden, a town 23km away on the other side of Lake Woerthersee.
- GoofsWhen the pastor and the captain are talking via Flag Semaphone his second line starts with a Y. However when the captain reads the line the first letter in the sentence is an N (in German). However it looks similar to the sign for letters in general. Also a signal with crossing arms, which the pastor did later, doesn't exist. Furthermore the beginning of the sentence usually begins by swinging the flag to the right, just like the confirmation of the message receiving, which both wasn't done here.
- Quotes
Alfred: [trying to hypnotize the pastor] Sleep. Sleep deep. You get tired, very tired.
[tries to remember his lines, looks up in a hypnose manual, continues]
Alfred: Let yourself falling and dream. Dream of the bishop. He comes to you and says:
[with deep voice]
Alfred: . Where is the money? Where is the money?
[with normal voice]
Alfred: And he asks you the third time: Where is the money? And you say?
Pfarrer Himmelreich: [with closed eyes] Shut up!
[stands up in his pastor clothes]
Pfarrer Himmelreich: I knew that, therefore I was still dressed. You as a bishop. A death man will notice that.
