The Price Is Right host Drew Carey revealed he feels a sense of closure following the conviction of the murderer of his ex-fiancée, Amie Harwick.

Gareth Pursehouse, Harwick’s ex-boyfriend, was sentenced to life in prison without parole for Harwick’s murder in 2020.

“Ever since the final sentencing, it feels like we’ve all let out a breath and are able to finally move on,” he told People. “The whole process is over now, and there’s nothing else to be done and nothing else to worry about… Just speaking just for myself, it’s been quite a load off.”

Harwick, a Hollywood marriage and family therapist, had previously filed two restraining orders against Pursehouse before her murder.

Actor and comedian Drew Carey went on an impressive journey to improve his health, which included losing 1,000 pounds over the years.

The Price is Right host recently revealed that he used to live an unhealthy and unhappy life following his appearances on the popular game show.

“I would go out to Swingers diner after The Price Is Right my first year, get a plate of pasta, a cupcake and iced tea with a bunch of lemons,” Carey shared in an upcoming People magazine story.

It didn’t stop there, though, as he also revealed he would “have Doritos and several Pepsis, and take an Ambien to go to sleep” at home.

Carey told the publication, “It was miserable” to live in that manner.

However, the 65-year-old show host began to take his health seriously, even reversing his Type 2 diabetes diagnosis.

Julius and Vincent have found each other yet again, as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito met up backstage after the latter’s recent Broadway outing. And while Arnold was proud of his pal’s show, it was the promise of a reunion between the two that will no doubt get people more excited.

Posting on Instagram this week, Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote the following, accompanied by a photo of himself with Danny DeVito and his daughter Lucy: “My brother! It was fantastic to see Danny on Broadway in “I Need That”. He and Lucy and everybody involved kept the audience entertained, laughing and loving every minute – one of the best plays I’ve ever seen, a true spectacle with heart!! I can’t wait to work together again.”

Preview performances for Broadway’s I Need That starring Danny DeVito begin tonight, and already the limited engagement has been extended by a week.

Roundabout Theatre Company said the extension through December 30 was due to popular demand. The play officially opens at the American Airlines Theatre on November 2.

Written by Theresa Rebeck and directed by Moritz von Stuelpnagel, I Need That also features DeVito’s daughter Lucy DeVito and Ray Anthony Thomas.

The synopsis: Sam (Danny DeVito) doesn’t get out much. Actually, he doesn’t get out at all, opting instead for the safety of his house in the company of his things – his many, many things. But when a notice from the government arrives alerting Sam that he must clean up his property or face eviction, he’s forced to reckon with what’s trash, what’s treasure, and whether we can ever know the difference between the two.

The latest episode of "Futurama," titled "The Prince and the Product," is the show's seventh anthology episode, and it's the weirdest one to date.

The "Futurama" anthology episodes began back in the series' second season with "Anthology of Interest I", and featured stories that were too outlandish, even for the already-bizarre show. The conceit behind the anthology format, at least at first, was merely to sensationalize the drama in a 1950s style, complete with an over-the-top announcer (Maurice Lamarche) yelling things like "You've seen it! Now you can't unsee it!" As the show progressed, however -- and the showrunners wanted to get even wilder -- the conceit fell away, and anthology shows would be presented just for fun.

The episode "Reincarnation", for instance, merely featured a trio of segments in different animation formats. One was a black-and-white Ub Iwerks-style cartoon, another appeared to have been animated on an Atari...

At the beginning of the second episode of the fourth season of "Star Trek: Lower Decks," called "I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee," senior officers Commander Ransom (Jerry O'Connell) and Lieutenant Shaxs (Fred Tatasciore) are working out in the gym of the U.S.S. Cerritos. They mention that to explore the galaxy and counter tyranny, they must remain flexible. Shaxs grunts and strains, while the frustratingly fit Ransom goads him on. They engage in unusual stretching maneuvers, employing some kind of bizarre futuristic yoga into their routine. Most unsettling are their outfits. Ransom wears a blue body stocking with a purple one-piece swimsuit over it. The swimsuit has cutouts in the chest area to accentuate his pecs. Shaxs wears a forest green body stocking with a burgundy singlet stretched on top. His pecs, too, are allowed a little "window" for accentuation.

The unique skill set that allows game show hosts to keep the action flowing as excited contestants vie for prizes is not something everyone has. It’s why certain hosts last for a long time and helm multiple games.

Today, some of that game show community saluted a true master of the art in Bob Barker, who passed away at his home after nearly a half-century of gamesmanship.

Barker hosted The Price Is Right — North America’s longest-running daytime game show — for 35 years and won 19 Daytime Emmy Awards. Prior to the CBS series, he hosted trivia quiz show Truth or Consequences. When he retired from The Price Is Right in 2007, he had been working in television for 50 years. It didn’t take long for Hollywood to start flooding social media with tributes to Barker, honoring his work on TV and as an animal rights activist. CBS released a statement remembering the late star. “We lost a beloved member of the CBS family today with the passing of Bob Barker,” the statement reads.

Over a year after his untimely death in May 2022, Ray Liotta has just been honored with a Primetime Emmy nomination for his supporting performance on the Apple TV+ limited series “Black Bird.” This recognition comes after he received Critics Choice and Gold Derby TV Award notices for the same role. As the 11th person (and first in 25 years) to posthumously compete for an Emmy as a non-continuing program performer, he is just one step away from breaking new ground as the first deceased limited series acting winner in TV academy history.

Liotta’s “Black Bird” character, James Keene Sr., is the father of real-life convict James Keene Jr., whose 10-year prison sentence for dealing narcotics was ultimately shortened after he helped coax a confession out of serial killer Larry Hall. Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser also received 2023 Emmy nominations for their respective lead and supporting performances as Keene Jr.

Lance Reddick’s unexpected death in March 2023 halted a thriving acting career that consisted of many memorable performances, including several voice-over gigs on TV series like “Castlevania,” “Duck Tales” and “Rick and Morty.” In addition to half a dozen mid-production projects, his legacy could include a posthumous Emmy victory in honor of his vocal work on the Amazon Prime Video animated series “The Legend of Vox Machina.” After Chadwick Boseman, who won the 2022 Best Character Voice-Over prize for “What If…?” two years after his death, Reddick would be the second posthumous recipient of any voice acting Emmy.

Reddick joined the recurring cast of “The Legend of Vox Machina” in its second season, which concluded less than a month before he died. His character, Thordak, is the leader of a group of dragons known as the Chroma Conclave, whose destructive plans are encumbered by the heroic, interspecific members of Vox Machina.
