I store my Golden Age adult films separately from the "made for video" era porn that followed (and continues), with "Hot Touch" from VCX just over the borderline into the modern era. Classification is a bit difficult, as two technological changes were occurring coterminously circa 1983: shooting on video instead of 16mm or 35mm film, and releasing direct to home viewing instead of theaters. Further, Adult theaters were converting to video projection as well.
That said, "Hot Touch" is poorly made and has a lousy cast to boot. It's sort of a sex comedy, but such a trifle that I was surprised IMDb had so much in the way of credits listed for it (usually I have to add these junkers several decades after release to the database when I find and watch them).
Comic porn actor Nick Random (his name fits here, in terms of casting) is the lead, cheating inexplicably on his wife Marsha (Mindy Rae) with an unattractive blonde who speaks with a thick accent. IMDb had Mindy confused with another actress "Renee Tyffany" who may well have been the mistress.
The editing and structure of the picture are very sloppy, and scenes with a babysitter and a card game for the unfaithful central couples ineptly directed. Its preservation on DVD is inexplicable given the overall low quality and lack (other than Mindy) of star names.
