Two pals ,a wealthy man's lazy son and a pork butcher want their old mate, a pharmacist who exploits his customers' naiveté to sell them useless medicine , to join them for a binge ; as he refuses,partly because of his authoritarian missus who runs a girls school, they forge a notification for a military training period .

This is pure coarse comedy , very old fashioned ,but sometimes funny thanks to Pierre Larquey ,proudly wearing his uniform of lieutenant , then dressed up as an English girl scout,complete with wig and skirt .The barracks and the girl scouts camp provide the movie with a source of good gags .
