The Plot. A young novelist with a bad case of writer's block clears her mind by answering an ad placed by a man who is driving cross-country and needs a partner.
Along the way, she ends up with more writing material than she ever bargained for.
I suppose "young" is relative. The woman looks like she's 45. The "man" how has the worst hair dye job on the planet looks 18. So weirdly mismatched.
I'm shocked at the good review scores. It's OK for an indy film, but no way does it deserve a 7+ rating. Melissa Leo is horribly miscast in this film. In fact she sucks in this movie. When you can see the acting, your not good, hunny.
About 30 minutes into this film i was bored to hell. I only stuck it out to see Penn Jillette. It wasn't worth the effort
