Scottish singer and West End star Darius Campbell Danesh died from respiratory arrest caused by inhalation of chloroethone, a US medical examiner has confirmed.
The former Pop Idol contestant’s death has been ruled an accident by the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner’s Office, after Campbell Danesh was found in his Rochester apartment last month.
His family revealed the singer had been suffering from chronic neck pain following a car accident in 2010, a trauma he had previously talked about in interviews.
In 2010, Campbell Danesh was a passenger in a Porsche when it hit a wall at 70mph after skidding on oil during a Spanish holiday in Spain.
He was treated with daily physiotherapy but rejected an operation recommended by doctors because he was concerned that it would damage his vocal cords.
Campbell Danesh was found unresponsive in his Rochester apartment on August 11, according to a statement from his family.

The Coalition, developer at the helm of this year’s sequel-cum-reboot Gears of War 4, hosted a beta test for its sci-fi shooter earlier this year that was met with a lukewarm reception.
Citing chopping framerates and uninspired graphics, fans voiced concern over the vertical slice that inevitably cast some doubt on whether the studio would be able to fine-tune Gears 4 in time for its October release.
However, in a new post via the game’s official site, The Coalition has posted a comprehensive list of tweaks and fixes that have been implemented since the beta test, before the studio’s Kirk Gibbons conceded that the portion of gameplay featured in said beta was lifted from a “very early stage” of development.
“Though called a ‘Beta’, the Gears 4 Beta was at an early pre-Alpha stage of the project – a...

Two words kept ringing through my head while listening to M9′s “Magna Carta” and it’s the thing that had me going back to it again and again. “Old School.”
It’s been a while since I’ve heard a hip hop album that was so laid back and pitch perfect in its goal that it’s very refreshing. There’s so much going on here, it’s quite fun. Wherever he’s getting his inspiration I’m not 100% certain, but it’s some good, powerful stuff. The album as a whole has a very chill vibe. If I were having friends over or looking to just kick it on a weekend night, or even just to take a drive let go, these would be my jams. This feels like the stuff I grew up with. There’s a slow, smooth jazz vibe that sets...

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber was forced to miss out on attending his first Bet Awards show on Sunday, June 27 due to his tour commitments - because he never expected to be nominated at the ceremony.
The "Baby" hitmaker was a surprise nominee in the Best New Artist category when the competitors were announced in May, sparking controversy with some critics questioning his eligibility to be considered for the Black Entertainment Television honors.

Explaining his absence at the 2010 Bet Awards on the morning of the show, Bieber wrote on his Twitter.com page, "Rolled into Milwaukee for the show today... gonna be huge... 22,000 people sold out I heard.
