Made by the US Army Air Forces First Motion Picture Unit. This unit was created at the insistence of AAF chief General H. H. Arnold because he want learn from training films and not be bored into s stupor by them. The FMPU was based at the Hal Roach Studios for the duration. The location was referred to by the men as Camp Roach. Many contemporary and future movie stars appeared in these training films.
