Was one of two serial dramas submitted to the BBC to become a thrice weekly 'soap opera'. The winning idea was Little England, later renamed Eldorado, which ran for 156 episodes between July 1992 and July 1993. Westbeach was instead transformed into a 10-part Saturday night drama which was broadcast in 1993.
The entire series is currently lost media.
