      Mona's green triangle tattoo is a Nazi concentration camp symbol. Specifically, pink triangles were for homosexuals, red for political prisoners, blue for emigrants, black for the catch-all "asocial" prisoners, and green was for criminals. This is foreshadowing, since Mona does become a criminal.

      Blue Lips the goldfish clearly doesn't have his blue lips in scenes that aren't a closeup, such as when the boyfriend does an impromptu puppet show in the beginning.

    Well worth a rental

    The story is not predictable, every time I thought they were going to resort to a cliche, the film zips off in another direction. Although neither the acting or plot are brilliant, it has does have a few laughs, and it held my interest until the very end. In that respect, it is much better than most of the "commercial" films I have seen lately. Well worth a rental.
