Michel Courtemanche was very pleased when he first received the screenplay but two weeks before the filming, he received a new version who completely changed and was very bad according to Courtemanche. He describe the shooting as a nightmare and hate the film.
The original screenwriters Émile Gaudreault and Stéphane Bourguignon had their names taken off the credits when they saw the end result..
