When Herb comes up to Charlie, who is faking an injury in front of Liz in order to elude Gil, the two pretend to not know each other and Liz believes them, even though they were looking around in her suite together when she and her mother walked in.

The young couple enters the plane video recording their honeymoon, yet in the Mexican cafe' the mom/mother-in-law takes leave of the couple saying, "It's your anniversary."

In the start of the movie when Herb and Charlie have taken the seats in first class, Charlie remarks that the plane door has been closed. Under no circumstances would the airline open the door for three passengers once the plane has been secured. This is called a secure cabin and is a federal law. An airline would never violate this policy.

Solar eclipses can only happen at a new moon. We see a full moon two nights before the solar eclipse occurs, and one night after.

After Herb and Charlie have boarded the 767 for Miami and tried to get into Business Class, they are sent to seats 37H and J. They go aft and sit down in the center row of seats. But seats H and J are always the aisle and window seats in the right hand row of the plane.

Toward the end of the movie, when Herb fires off the flare, the scene cuts to the plane where there's normal conversation with no engine sounds whatsoever.

When Gil Godwin introduces the dance hosts, you can clearly see the band is playing their instruments. When Gil, announces Julio, the band members are not playing their instruments, even though the melody has not changed. When Scott is introduced they are playing again.

The honeymoon couple is actually celebrating their anniversary. When they board the plane, the husband says it's their honeymoon, and the wife then says that it's only a year late, making it their one-year anniversary.

20 minutes in when the dancers are lined up behind scenes you can see toe-marks for the talent.

When the bookmaker confronts Charlie at the track, Charlie has a wad of cash. He offers to give the bookie $500. The bookie responds by taking all the money, which he says is $1000. He would have no way of knowing how much was in the stack. Charlie had no money when he placed the bet. At 70 to 1, his $10 bet would have given him $700, not $1000.

Herb begins the movie by telling Charlie that he and his deceased wife "would have been married 45 years". but later tells Vivian "my wife and I started dancing on our wedding night, and didn't stop for 46 years".

Vivian is led to believe that Herb is a doctor, but when she finds out he isn't, she's upset that he lied to her. He explains later that it was Charlie that lied to her, but that isn't correct either. Charlie lied to the flight attendant and Vivian just happened to overhear it.
