The movie deals with various issues like racism, alienation, love and other things that the youth of Sweden are supposed to be interested in. Well, maybe we are but this movie is full of clichés and just plain stupid. The nicest thing I can say about it is that the actors can´t act and the main characters name is John-John. STUPID, STUPID, STUPID movie! Don´t see it, not even if your life is at stake. I wouldn´t at least.

This movie is pretty good. For us who where in our teens when the movie came out its quite nostalgic.

Its about young love between "John-John" and "Elisabeth". Elisabeth is a typical Swedish girl and John-John has a different nationality. They both come from different segments of the city. "John" is on the poor side of the lake, Elisabeth on the rich side.

Its a quite romantic movie and cute in some ways. It will not be forgotten by us who were in our teens when it came out thats for sure. I don't think that many people other than swedes have seen this movie. I'm not sure if people from other countries would like it. You kinda had to be here 1996 and be a teen :-)

I'll give the movie 7/10 because of the nostalgia! :-D

Well...many people may tear this movie apart but i really think that this is one of the best teenage romantic movies from the 1990's in Sweden and the acting is also good. Includes Romance/Racism/Comedy/Drama and also very good and high class actors like: Peter Haber,Anki Liden,Lina Englund,Kjell Bergkvist and the big name:Allan Svensson. Great actors and performances here and you should try to see it if you get the chance. This movie from 1996 is good and i just saw it recently a few days ago and i enjoyed every minute of it and before i did not see it since it came out on cinema. This one is a lot better than the other teenage movie from Sweden that came out around 1988 i think that was called "Ps Sista Sommaren". This one has more better acting in it and more to reality. hope to see more romantic movies like this in this new millennium from Sweden.
