A sequel to Jungledyret Hugo was unavoidable if you remember the ending of the first movie. And in my opinion it didn't disappoint. It added more drama this time, because Hugo actually finds the spoiled life of moviestars comfortable and luxurious which conflicts with his street-oriented and free-spirited friend Rita's relationship with him.
After Isabella's fall into insanity in the first movie we now get her husband Conrad as the main antagonist. He has the same plan like that of the first movie, but will go to more extreme measures to get Hugo which makes him a more serious threat to Hugo. Nothing new, but the menacing actions make up for that.
We get more songs in this sequel and they are great! But bare in mind that the American dubbed version is terrible. I am from Denmark, so I know the original version and it was on par with the first movie.

It's a good sequel that is more enjoyable when watching the original Danish version; the animation is very good and the music is excellent; I recommend it if you liked its predecessor.
It so sad seeing this movie getting so low rating when I know it's all because of that bad American version.
Before you vote on this movie, get a taste of the original Danish voice acting. You will understand why.
In the American version all voice acting, music and sound effects(Yes, they have redone the music, and for the worse I might add) are like keyboard from the 80's quality. While the original Danish version have a Disney quality.
So what about the movie? It's a great movie, that starts on where the first one left off. Rita miss Hugo and Hugo miss Rita, but they are world apart. Fate brings them together again, when Hugo is captured and brought back to Denmark again.
The animation is not as great as the first movie, but still good. The songs gonna be stuck in your brain for some time. The characters are lovelier ever, and you will have a good hour fun.
This is a "one to watch" movie, but I BEG you to see the original Danish version!

It is a good movie for children; the animation is good and the music is decent; I recommend the original Danish version.
