When Joe and Lily are sitting on his couch after their first date, the position of his arm changes from lowered to around her shoulder between shots.

When Joe and Lily are sitting on his couch after their first date, the color of the wine changes from pink when the roaches move the glass towards Lily to dark red when she is holding it.

At around 1:09 Lily's hair changes in between shots.

At roughly 1 hour and 6 minutes, between second 28 and 29, Joe can be seen raising arm as giant urinal cake flies over him.

An African elephant, identifiable by its long ears, passes through town and Joe collects its dung. Later, flowers grow on the dung and he presents them to Lily, who says that the flowers only grow on the dung of elephants native to southeast Asia. Lily claims to have written her senior thesis on this species of flower, so it is unlikely that she has misidentified them or that she is mistaken about where they grow.

When the Bianco boys break into the apartment and approach Joe, one is talking, but no words are heard.
