"Beauty's Evil Rose" is pretty typical for a CAT III flick. That is, it's basically incomprehensible, with no real plot or characters, and no narrative through-line to link all the weirdness on screen - and the tediousness - together.
The movie is allegedly about some all female cult recruiting girls and killing men, possible with penile tentacles that come from their palms in a few scenes, but I'm not sure.
I say that is "allegedly" what it's about because that is what I've read online, from people who must have been able to get more from it than I was. I just finished watching the movie, and I don't think it was about anything. Sure, I do remember a few scenes that seemed to depict a cult with all female members, but they didn't take up enough time to seem important, nor were they really explained.
What takes up more time are the scenes of lesbian sex, which to be sure, are this movie's reason for being. Surprising then that they're not very erotic, or even realistic. The actresses seem to think that lesbians have sex like men and women do - the women just pretend to have a penis.
What seems proof that the producers of the movie had no real faith in the project is the fact that the end credits come on while the movie is still playing, and just play over the final scene. There's no fade to black. Did they know nobody would be paying attention anyway, so distracting the audience with credits isn't such a big deal? Or did they know what was going on on screen was incomprehensible anyway?
