Goofs

The fax appears in the fax machine after it has been removed.

Richie looks in the mirror at a pimple next to his nose, but later when he asks his dad if he can see it, Richie points to his chin.

Nash gets stuck on the stairs by Professor Keenbean's glue. When he frees Richie and the gang, they walk down the stairs and Nash has disappeared.

When Richard Sr. unwraps the TNT in the airplane, it claims there are seven seconds late - and there is a beep each time a second depletes. By the time it has been tossed out of the airplane, well over seven seconds have passed from the time he unwrapped it.

When Van Dough ties Keenbean up, he puts the sandwich on his chest. In one scene, the bread of the sandwich is brown. Then next it is white. Then it was brown when Richie got out of the machine, and then it was white again.

When Richard opens the plane window to throw the TNT out of the plane, there is so little wind that even his hair doesn't move.

Near the end of the movie, Richie fires Mr. Van Dough. When Mrs. Rich punches him in the face, you can see Mr. Rich's arm move from pushing Van Dough away from them as if the punch was really strong.

When Richard and Regina were in the ocean right after their plane went down, there is one shot in the distance that shows land.

After the scene of Cadbury lowering the melted-off window-bars to the ground and then climbing down himself, Richie is seen hiding behind --- and to the left side of --- a dumpster that's next to the prison's outside wall, and looking to his left in order to see Cadbury. So Cadbury --- also with the same wall behind him --- would have to look to his right to see Richie, not to his left, as well (and indeed, Cadbury then runs into frame from the right in order to join Richie and give him a hug).

The car which 3-year old Richie is shown driving is modeled after an R129 Mercedes-Benz SL, which didn't come out until 1989 (when he would have been 7).

When Professor Keenbean activates RoboBee to help in shutting the molecular re-organizer machine off, the long-shot / closeup of RoboBee getting ready to attack Ferguson show's Keenbean's mouth not moving when he yells "Fly like you've never flown before!".

When Van Dough is getting the temple message, he gets mad at his secretary for going counter-clockwise. When he grabs her hands and does it for her, he is going counter-clockwise, too.

Cadbury tells Richie that "Arnold's history", yet Richard Sr.'s stated employment-policy is that he never fires anyone; as one of the Rich family's staff, Van Dough would not have been allowed to fire his chauffeur for dropping him off by a puddle, either.
