Each episode is taken twice with a studio audience. The two takes are then cut together to one episode.
Suzanne Reuter plays a bank manager married to Allan Svensson. Before this show they played against each other in the criminal drama Svarta banken (1992) where Reuter played a bank clerk and Svensson a criminal detective.
Each Christmas eve in Sweden, the last episode of season one "God Jul, Svensson" is played since 1996.
