Lina applies for the role of the Virgin Mary in the school play. Gustav also wants to show off his acting talents and gets the role of Herod and takes this very seriously.
Lena's boyfriend from high school is coming to visit from the USA. Gustav is moderately amused by the visit until it turns out that they share the same interest.
Lena starts working as a bank head and she now earns more than Gustav. Her career inspires him to claim a promotion at the post office. Lina is delightful for soon being chosen as the centrist in school.
Max's school class has had the honor of competing in We in the fifth, on TV. Gustav does everything to pep Max up for the competition, but after giving him a book about death, Max has no desire to compete there.
Christmas is at the door. Max and heavily pregnant Lina will celebrate Christmas with their respective ones, to Gustav and Lena's great disappointment. But it doesn't turn out exactly as the Svensson family planned.
