    Tired Michael Caine vehicle

    Pretty much an unofficial Harry Palmer sequel/comeback (a few years before two official ones), "Blue Ice" is gloomily atmospheric (the London sky is always completely gray in this movie) but plays more like a 2-hour TV episode than a feature film, though there are a couple of well-staged action scenes. Michael Caine has a few funny lines ("you frightened me so much I spilled my tea"), and Sean Young is sultry, steamy & unbelievably leggy (seriously, how long are those legs?!?). ** out of 4.
