- Harlan Williams: I guess you're right. I'm still working here, and you're still a jerk.
- Technician: Dr. Todhunter, I need your signature.
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: What time do you have?
- Technician: Half past the hour.
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Hmm. Are we ready?
- Technician: Yes sir, I have it scheduled for this afternoon.
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Do it now.
- Technician: Now, doctor?
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Do it now.
- Technician: But sir, ya see...
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Do it now!
- Technician: But we haven't...
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Do it now!
- Technician: The...
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Now you listen to me, you overpriced, overpaid simpleton! TIME... marches to a very different drummer, do you not see that?
- Technician: Yes sir, but... but...
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: You just open your ears and listen, you can hear it. I hear it, I hear it all the time! TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP, TAP, TAPPY, TAPPY TAP... in my brain! Like a little drum, says: DON'T WAIT, don't wait, doooon't WAIT, DON'T WAIT! DO IT NOW! Do... it... NOW!
- Technician: Yes sir...
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: DO IT NOW!
- [Technician walks away]
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: [Yelling] DO IT NOW!...
- [quietly to himself]
- Dr. Richard X. Toddhunter: Do it now.
- Harlan Williams: It could be a lot worse. I could be changing into an alligator like in the horror movies.
- Terry Spann: [about Andrews] I saw him slaughter an entire family once.
- Gen. Louis Crewes: Is that when you quit working with him?
- Harlan Williams: Miss Spann, now that we're into the hearse stealing business, why don't we drop this Mr. Williams? Just call me Harl.
- Terry Spann: I'm Terry, it's not much, but my mom liked it.
- Gina Williams: If Jack Ruby could kill the man who killed the president and the police couldn't stop him, what chance does Harlan have?
- Terry Spann: If Andrews comes, I wouldn't give Harlan a snowball's chance in hell.
- Gen. Louis Crewes: [about Jude Andrews] Were you two intimate?
- Terry Spann: Very intimate, we used to kill people together.
- Terry Spann: Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't some John Dillinger gunned down running through the streets, he was killed in a police garage.
- Harlan Williams: *In* police custody.
- Gina Williams: But everybody said he was insane.
- Terry Spann: Sometimes it's easier to believe in a conspiracy than to believe people are insane. *Not* everybody found hanging in a jail cell committed suicide.
