Twisted Obsession (1989) consists of an adaptation of the 1976 novel "The Dream of the Mad Monkey" (Le rêve du singe fou) by Christopher Frank.
Winner of six 1990 Goya Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography and Best Editing.
Shot in English, the film is a Spanish-French co-production, produced by Iberoamericana in association with French Production, International Production and Sofica Valor. Shooting took place in Paris, France and Madrid, Spain.
