- TriviaDuring the film's closing credits, Israel declared its victory during the Six Day War where the Israeli Air Force evaluated the captured MiG that Munir Redfa flew with during his defection. Also, the captured MiG was loaned to the United States Air Force in January 1968 where they also evaluated it (during the same time period when USAF and Navy aircraft (primarily the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II) were deployed to Vietnam and they were suffering heavy losses where the lighter MiGs had a greater maneuverability which led to the development of the Have Doughnut program where the Dissimilar Aircraft Combat Training was developed (that became the USAF's Red Flag program and the U.S. Navy's Fighter Weapons School later known as Top Gun). The USAF later returned the MiG back to Israel where it has became a museum display. Two years after the Six Day War, the IAF, who have also been a participant in the MiG evaluation along with its participation with the Have Doughnut program, acquired the F-4 Phantom II.
- GoofsMunir Redfa's defection did not involve a dogfight - also, he actually defected with a MiG-21, not a MiG-15. The fighters that escorted his MiG were Lockheed F-80 Shooting Stars - in real life, he was escorted by two IAF Dassault Mirage IIIs.

The granddaughter of the great writer, Mariel Hemingway, is neither a great beauty nor a first-rate actress. She only played in mediocre films, mediocre
roles, one exception being Woody Allen's "Manhattan" (1979). Here too she is unconvincing in the role of a Mossad agent. Ben Cross, a decent actor in other films, is just as unconvincing as an Iraqi pilot. Andreas Katsulas, an actor with a sinister face, is much more credible. For a moment, in one scene, I recognized the Romanian actor Dan Nutu, who is not even credited. A very boring movie,
actually pure pro-Israel propaganda. Yanni's music, very good in many albums, is not great, on the contrary. One star though for Mariel, because she tried hard.
