Credit for our renting this movie must go to the artist who created the front cover for the video. It appeared to show a romantic thriller. On the contrary, it was predictable and decidedly unromantic. Things I did not like about the movie were the photography (one level above a home video), the music (in places there seemed to be no correlation between the scene and the soundtrack), and the story (weird). Don&#39;t waste your time with this one.

Quiet Thunder

Let me start this review by saying this is no where near a good film, it has so many flaws and so many mistakes but that&#39;s what makes it charming and rather funny for all the wrong reasons. A pilot called Max and the wife of a senator named Karen witnessess an assassination and for some reason they&#39;re accused of it (if I got it all right)? Along with Max&#39;s friend Two Days (which has to be one of the silliest names I&#39;ve heard in a long time) they try to escape the authorities by plane but they crash into the middle of no where and the rest of the movie is basically one long chase. This might sound really boring but there are a few of these action scenes in between which are really entertaining for all the wrong reasons (if you&#39;ve seen the movie you get what I mean). It feels like the filmmakers thought some of these sequenses were really cool, awesome and somewhat clever but they are so stupid and silly that you can&#39;t help but laugh at the whole mess. And did I mention that the movie ends so strange and ubruptly? I went into this film expecting nothing and I got a whole lot of laughter and a really good time out of it. If you&#39;re a fan of &quot;so bad it&#39;s good&quot; type of films I can really recommend to watch this film with a couple of buddies and have a really fun and great time. 6/10 stars from me.
