In order to get a FSK-18 rating in Germany, the German VHS release by Highlight Video was slightly cut for violence to remove 27 seconds worth of gore. Despite this, the BPjM still indexed the film which means various sales & advertising restrictions, it lasted up until 2013. Only in 2024 was the uncut version granted a FSK-16 rating.
