Fight scene between Sanjay Khan and Akbar Khan where they both realize they are brothers was inspired from the film Jhonny Mera Naam 1970.
Like at the premier party of Bobby in the year 1973, there was a misunderstanding between Shammi Kapoor and Feroz Khan (they patched up 25 years later during prem aggan) again their was a misunderstanding between Sanjay Khan and Rishi Kapoor at the realease party of Kala Dhanda Gorey Log. Then the next day they patched up.

This is the last film which Sanjay Khan made. After this film he had started a film tittled. Surzameen, with Vinod Khanna, Anil Kapoor, Meenakshi Seshadri and Sonam. He shot for the film for some time, but he saw things are not working out so he shelved Surzameen and instead, Sanjay Khan then started to concentrate on tv serials.
