1. "Rock and Roll Will Never Die."
2. "Watch Out For Me. I Am Pure Evil. I Am Christine."
When you first go, you're shown a cat being shocked in the "shock room" and advised/threaten what will happen if they catch you smoking...
Step one involves (these assume you're a married man with at least one child) having your wife kidnapped and put in the shock room while you're forced to watch. Step two, your daughter put in the shock room. Step three, your wife gets raped. Step four, they "give up." I.E., kill you. Only 2% of people get to step four. Also, when you've kicked the habit for a while, they'll start monitoring your weight and help you control it with diet pills. If you gain too much though, they'll come and cut off your wife's little finger.
Two reasons. One, because he (Johnny Norris) was having an affair with his (Cressner) wife and two, because he (Cressner) loves to gamble and make bets. He bet him as to whether or not he'll make it around the ledge.
Cressner called him Sebastian and Amanda called him General. His real name, however, is unknown.
It starts out being chased by a St Bernard and escapes by hiding in the back of a truck bound for New York City. While there, it receives his first, that we are shown, psychic message from Amanda calling for help while looking at the face of a mannequin in a store window.
At this point it is captured and taken to Quitters Inc. where its placed in the shock room and electrocuted to show clients what will happen to their spouse and/or child if caught smoking. During a fight, the cat-carrier it was housed in is knocked over allowing for its escape. After a free hot dog meal from some homeless men on the beach, a ferry ride delivers it to Atlantic City, NJ.
Here, in a TV, we see a second psychic message from Amanda asking for help. This drives it to cross a busy street where it is picked up by Cressner outside of a casino and taken to his high-rise condo. Later, during another fight, it escapes, makes its way downstairs/outside and witnesses Cressner fall to his death.
Next stop is Wilmington, NC via train and off to Amanda's house by hitching a ride on the back of a pickup truck. Here, it witnesses the troll run across the yard and enter the house. It gives chase, makes its way up to Amanda's room, but her mom quickly puts it back outside. That night, it comes back in through an open window to defend Amanda from the troll. This fight results in a stab wound and being blamed for Polly the parakeet's death.
The next morning, Amanda's mom catches it and takes it to the pound, but once again is able to escape and makes its way back to the house. Upon witnessing the troll attacking Amanda again, it enters her room through the chimney and defeats the troll in one final battle. As a result of Amanda's parents viewing the troll's remains, they finally believe her and allow the cat to live in the house. It is also rewarded with a large fish for dinner.
Yes as we clearly hear it say "uh oh" and "no" during its fight with the cat. It can be speculated that it probably speaks its own language with other trolls, but knows a lot of English as it lives around people. It's also clear that it is not new to human dwellings based on its familiarity with various items found around Amanda's room (the bird cage, the doorstop, etc).
