Katt Shea's (actress and future director) first lead role. She was sent to audition by her agent but they hired somebody else. Then that actress got a TV pilot, and Shea was the next in line so the offered it to her. She flew to Argentina where she said she "spent two and a half months wearing skimpy outfits or nothing at all."
Dawn Dunlap's last role. She made six films over a six-year period (1979-85) starting when she was 15, then left the industry and married multi-millionaire advertising guru Sir Frank Lowe, taking on the name of Lady Dawn Lowe. The couple had a son in 1994 and divorced in 2007.
Both Argentinian director and producer Héctor Olivera and American lead actress Lana Clarkson were born on April 5. Olivera was born in Buenos Aires in 1931 and is till alive, whereas Clarkson, born in 1962, was shot to death in 2003 (aged 40) by songwriter and music producer Phil Spector (1939-2021) in his L.A. home Alhambra. He died in prison, aged 81. [May, 2023]
