When Larsson parks his red Porsche, he knocks the parking-meter over. The meter is separated from its pole, and the pole is knocked flat to the ground. But when you see the Porsche in the background some seconds later, the parking-meter is still attached to the pole, and the pole is just leaning some 30 degrees - not lying flat on the ground.
When the two boats are smashing each other sides, Sigurd throws a fender over the port railing. In the next shot of the boats from the front, the fender is on the other side.
The race is supposed to take place in the summertime. Still, yellow leaves on the trees can be seen in the final scenes, indicating early autumn.
When Janne's boat is towed by a horse, Lena is first seen leading the horse on the right bank of the canal. When they pass the Uniship boat that has crashed on the right bank the horse and Lena are suddenly walking on the left bank passed the crashed boat. When the towrope then overturns the canoeist, the horse is on the right bank again.
(at around 32 mins) When Magnus Härenstam is driving up in his black 1976 International Harvester Scout II he is wearing Sony Walkman headphones. Moments later he's wearing the headphones backwards.
After the crash, we see fire trucks going over a bridge which one of the boats has just apparently passed, but the boat obviously doesn't fit under the closed bridge.
When Rut argues with a lock operator about opening the lock after 8 PM, the operators lips moves when Rut speaks, and her gestures pointing at the wristwatch does not match what she is (not) saying.

When Larsson arrives in his Porsche and knocks the pole down, he arrives from further out on the island of Skeppsholmen, that only has one bridge, situated behind the camera.
During the start of the race, Ulf (Per Oscarsson) accidentally calls Leif (Lars Amble) by the wrong name ("Åke"), which Amble corrects (look at the reaction from the people standing in the background).
At around 7 mins Astrid (Marie Göranzon) incorrectly says that an order for 1,000 boats costing 400,000 SEK each means a total of 40,000,000 SEK. Then at around 1h 8 mins she asks Björn H:son Larsson (Stig Engström) to come up with the total, but he also gets it wrong, saying 4,000,000 SEK. In the same scene the serviceman (Sune Mangs) calculates the correct total of 400,000,000 SEK.
