Abysmal attempt to revive the famous 1950s TV show which had Goucho Marx. Basically it's just people talking about themselves with Marx interviewing them. There's also a secret word with every episode. If a contestant says it they automatically get money (it was about $50.00 in the old show). Then they have to answer a question to get big money.
The original was funny because Marx knew how to crack jokes left and right. The remake had Buddy Hackett. I have nothing against Hackett but he's no Groucho Marx. I caught two episodes of this before it was (quickly) cancelled. Hackett just wasn't funny. He embarrassed his contestants--Groucho just mildly kidded them. Also Hackett acted like he wished he was anywhere but on this show. Hackett could be very funny but not on this. This show is rightfully forgotten.
