A mixture of live-action and animation.
Filming was shut down in 1974, when the production ran out of money. Joseph Shaftel was able to raise money via a Jersey financier in 1976, and filming in Pinewood and the animation studio were able to commence again.
In 1968 , this was announced as a Kirk Douglas project.
Julian Glover's first animated movie. His second being Strings (2004), for which he provided the voice of The Kahro.
The film takes place in 1699.
