The British video release had cover illustrations from The Hot Girls (1974), Penelope Pulls It Off (1975) and I'm Not Feeling Myself Tonight (1976), but none from the actual film itself.
Laura Gemser said this is the only film she appeared in directed by Joe D'Amato that he didn't pressure her to film hardcore sex scenes, and that's only because he didn't include any in this film. In his other films, especially the Emanuelle series, he constantly tried to goad her into having actual sex onscreen. But she always refused. So he'd hire body doubles to do it and edit it to make it look like Gemser's character was doing it.
Laura Gemser handled several snakes during filming and even danced nude with them in one scene. Onscreen she looks comfortable with them, but in reality they terrified her. One even defecated on her when she was handling it.
