Johnny Weissmuller made a cameo appearance with former "Tarzan" co-star Maureen O'Sullivan . It was the only film in which he actually said, "Me Tarzan; You Jane.".
In the record-store scene, there are several classic LPs from the 1960s shown. These include "Outsideinside" by Blue Cheer, "Time Peace" by The Rascals, "Electric Ladyland" by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Led Zeppelin's debut album from 1969, "Retrospective" by Buffalo Springfield, "This Was" by Jethro Tull and "Near The Beginning" by Vanilla Fudge, plus albums by Blood Sweat & Tears.
