After its theatrical release the film was never released on any home video format. The film was broadcast on German TV (on Sat.1) for the first time in 1996. Only in 2016, Subkultur Entertainment announced that they have acquired the film for release on DVD/Blu-ray. It took three years of painstaking work and effort to find the film elements and restore them properly.
